If it has melted it means either you are running your engine to hot. To cool it down you need to adjust the mixture screw a little anti clockwise. There is lots of info on the web for testing nitro engine temperatures.

The other reason would be that the exhaust is pushed to far into the silicone tube so is touching the manifold whereas there should be a gap.
