Insert batteries into transmitter and model.

Do NOT have the engine running.

1, Install the failsafe unit between the receiver and throttle servo ( channel 2 on the receiver ).Ensure polarity is right on wiring.

2, Switch on radio and apply full brake and hold in position.

3, With a pin or small pointed object,press the 'set' button. A flashing red light occurs. Several seconds flashing until a short pause occurs. The unit is failsafe set to brake position. The servo should go to full brake when the transmitter is turned off to test.

NOTE

Steady flashing light - the unit is safe to use.
Solid red light - you could have radio problems or low battery power. DO NOT use until rectified.
