if your glow plug is not glowing, then you will need to recharge the glow starter and see if the glow plug then heats up. if it doesnot heat up you will need to get a new glow plug.

it is always advisable to carry a spare glow plug as they can go at any time. i have had plugs last less than 5mins and others last over 6months.
